Expanding the professional perspectives of musicians

Classical music schools with a social purpose have become a global phenomenon, supporting young people and opening the perspectives of entire communities globally. However, music is a highly competitive field that has become image-centred with the advent of digital technologies. Nowadays, musicians need not only to possess musical proficiency but also acquire technological and entrepreneurial skills to thrive. Unfortunately, many such schools do not teach those topics.

Our project AMP is a response to this. It is an education programme that enables students to produce and share their art with the world. It bolsters their agency and widens their professional perspectives in fields in which music skills are a real advantage. Below are examples of what students with little to no prior knowledge produced during our 10-day programme :
